For this project, we worked with a partner and were tasked with choosing an iconic jacket style and building a concept together, and each creating a collection for a different market. We chose to reimagine the iconic babydoll coat. Our concept was based on the woodwork that you see throughout the architecture here in the churches and buildings of Florence.
For my collection, I decided to focus on a romantic and detailed side of the woodwork. I took some inspiration from the 1940s to create a business casual collection.
